Online Shopping is growing even more than many might have expected only a year ago. Forced change of lifestyle and habits in the wake of COVID-19 has also increased online shopping.

For advertisers, it's no longer only Google Ads and Amazon that offers excellent opportunities for Advertising. This both to reach new customers and retarget previous website visitors. Facebook and Instagram have stepped as an interesting alternative for advertisers with their Dynamic Product Ads!

What are Dynamic Product Ads?

Facebook does a great job of summarizing what DPA’s are:

“Dynamic ads look similar to other ads on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and the Audience Network. However, instead of individually creating an ad for each of your products, you create an ad template that automatically uses images and details from your data feed for things you’d like to advertise. Dynamic ads use your Facebook pixel or SDK to show ads to people who have already shown interest in your business by taking actions you care about on your site.”

If you have an online shop with a few products it is recommended that you create the feed manually. If you have more than ten products and products that change often, there are other solutions. In this case, it is better to connect your Software solution to Facebook. Let's say you have Woocommerce, Shopify, or another solution. Then you can connect to Facebook and that way automatically import the products to the catalog. And also automatically keep the catalog updated.
